Helping with Helene Relief

The TN Baptist Mission Board has responded to Hurricane Helene with the Arise and Build program in which they are dedicated to building 40 new homes and rebuilding as many as they can in east Tennessee.  The CPBA is committed to adopting one of the 40 families and helping them build a new home.  This will require our association to raise $25,000 and to send several building mission teams to help with the rebuilding.

DONATIONS (Tax Deductible)
  • We are currently raising funds to build a home for our adopted family.

  • Donate online by clicking the green Helene Donations button.

  • Donate cash or by checks made payable to CPBA.  Be sure to write "Helene Donation" in the memo line.

    • Mail checks to CPBA, PO Box 2508, Crossville, TN 38557.

    • Or, stop by in person at 291 Sparta Hwy, Crossville, TN 38555.

NOTE:  Our online giving has been fixed (10/16/24), but it is still new to us.  Email us if you have a problem.

100%  Thank you!!!
If you'd still like to give, you can.  There are still other needs associated with Helene, and you can always donate to our general Disaster Relief fund as well.

VOLUNTEERS

When the time comes to start building, we will need volunteers to help in the building process.  I'm sure that we will need volunteers for several trips during the first three months of 2025.  We will send out volunteer requests to the churches in our association as soon as we receive information.  We will post new information here as well.

For now, you may use our contact form just to let us know that you would be interested in more information.

First trip is being planned for the week of February 3, 2025.

Thank you so much for all of the donations!  Those items were delivered to God's Warehouse on 10/17 for further distribution to the affected areas.  We are not taking donations of items at this time but will let you know if that changes. Monetary gifts are always welcome and will go to the greatest need.  (Updated 10/30/24)
